HOW TO KILL A TREE?

A part of the epidermis and phloem are cut from the stem of a tree.

After about a month, the top part of the ring is swelling, the lower part of the ring is shrinking.

Without the phloem, food can not be transpoted to the lower part of the ring, as a result, lower part especially the roots can not receive food and the tree is dying....
